Want to walk, run or ski more symmetrically?

Like other animals, humans are not symmetrical beings. Our organs and respiratory diaphragm are different right to left and this causes EVERY ONE OF US to wind into asymmetric patterns. Aside from affecting muscle control, strength and performance, these patterns are often the origin of dysfunction and pain. In this 4hr workshop, participants will gain an appreciation for the fundamental torques affecting our every move and will learn specific movement patterns to immediately apply to active lives.

Key concepts are drawn from the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) and Neurokinetic Therapy (NKT).

1) Participants should be able to sit, stand, walk and perform low intensity drills on floor mats.

2) When possible, please bring a chair, floor mat, massage ball, roller. We will have some to share.
